North Gate Organics CSA Program

CSA stands for Community Shared Agriculture. This food distribution model unites the farmer and the consumer for the growing season. The program provides the customer with a box of fresh, seasonal vegetables each week from the beginning of June until mid-October (20 weeks). In return, the farmer receives capital when it is most needed at the beginning of the season, and develops a direct relationship with the customer.
Examples of Vegetables in Season: June- lettuce mix, spring peas, radishes, green onions, arugula, spinach, white Japanese turnips, dill, cilantro, broccoli, bok choy, and beets July- lettuce mix, carrots, cauliflower, cucumbers, beans, arugula, lettuce mix, cherry tomatoes, summer squash, beets, and cabbage August- lettuce mix, carrots, tomatoes, peppers, beets, beans, eggplant, summer squash, lettuce mix, cucumbers, fennel, melons, onions, and potatoes September and October- lettuce mix, broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, potatoes, winter squash, pumpkins, melons, spinach, tomatoes, carrots, beets, eggplant, and cabbage 2026 CSA ProgramVegetable CSA Options:
Brighton: Pick-up will be at Lola's Cafe Tuesday afternoons from 3-6pm. If you miss your pick up, your veg will be available the following day in the retail fridge. Please Note: Payment is due by the end of February. (Payment can be made by cash to the cafe or by e-transfer to [email protected]) *Spaces are limited, please sign up early in order to reserve a share.* Farm fresh eggs will be available for purchase this year.
